Cyanotype workshop, markets and gifts from a small business

the sun is back, and we're making the most of it!

Hey sun lovers ☀️

Golly, so much has happened in the last few months! A trip to South Africa where I printed a seal, a trip to Mexico where I printed a dream catcher, a market in London, a creative retreat in Devon and reaching 100k followers on Instagram! I’ve been busy, but I hope that you've been able to come out of your winter hibernation and start making the most of this beautiful weather too.

I printed socks!

They look super cute

Maybe a new product!?

I've tried to treat this email list with respect and only message you when I think it's something that you really would want to know about - and I think you would want to know about the upcoming workshops, markets, original prints and other news.

Updates: Feature in Brooker Magazine

Honoured to be featured in this community made magazine that celebrates 60 years of Fashion in Kingston Upon Thames. 2025 marks 60 years since Kingston’s School of Art delivered an astonishing international coup for Great Britain, and Daphne Brooker was a commanding figure who left an outstanding legacy. Brooker was produced in partnership with Kingston University Press and its MA Publishing programme, and is the latest of a series of Community Brain publications that challenge the lazy notion that our suburbs lack entrepreneurialism, creativity or beauty.

It shines a spotlight on the borough’s wider communities and their relationship to fashion, whether Korean hanbok or traditional African dress. And it asks us to imagine the future for the fashion industry in an age where sustainability and ethics must be a bigger consideration for consumers and business alike.

Meta Collaboration

Some of you may know I'm doing a PhD in the craft of content creation. Last year I joined a community of content creators in a specialist training group run by Meta. I participated in a number of training sessions where I offered my insights and was asked to be part of a small team of creators to be commissioned to make content, on how to make content, to be shared with other content creators.

This resulted in a three month project of four pieces of content a month, where I was able to break down tips and tricks on how to be better at creating creative content within the algorithms of social media. It was an absolute honour to be recognised for my skills and to learn so much from the project.

I do offer social media consultations and do collaborations so please do think of me if you have any questions or would like to work with me.

Tiramisu Retreat, Devon

In May I was invited by Tiramisu to attend a creative retreat in the heart of Devon with 15 other incredible human beings. This wasn't an influencer retreat but more of an opportunity to get interesting people together to share space and their practice. It was organised by a new app called tiramisu, which has the objective of creating a platform where people can find events that create community, have sustainability in mind and are about bringing people together rather than exploiting people. It's going to have a reward system where if you go for a walk in nature or you give to your community you can win tickets to events. It sounds really interesting and can't wait to get more involved.

I attended a crochet workshop, a somantic breath work session and an art therapy drawing session. Of course I hosted a cyanotype workshop - and just love introducing this craft to new people.

I had a really wonderful time and thought it would be cool to share with you.

Private cyanotype workshop gift card: buy your friend or loved one a session 💙

Book a 30 minute, one hour or one and a half hour online session to learn how to make the best cyanotype prints. The session can be tailored to you needs - whether you are new to the process or have some burning question. I can either send you some paper to work with or just do a live demonstration of the process. I’ll send you a cute little voucher that you can print and give.

This would pair nicely with a kit!
